This policy explains how Techgrity Systems handles personal information provided through this website. It should be read together with any additional notice shown when a specific service or secure document-sharing process is used.
Who is responsible
Techgrity Systems is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. The public contact point for privacy questions and requests is business@techgrity.co.zw. Techgrity is based in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Information we collect
We collect information that you choose to provide through general enquiries, project enquiries and capability-document requests. This may include your name, organisation, role, email address, telephone number, country, project location, enquiry content, procurement context and the documents you request. The website may also create limited technical records needed for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and reliable delivery.
Why we use information
We use personal information to validate, receive, route and respond to legitimate business enquiries; evaluate project and document requests; arrange appropriate follow-up; protect the website and its users; maintain necessary business and security records; and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not use website enquiries for unrelated direct marketing without an appropriate basis or separate permission.
Consent and necessary processing
When you submit a form, you ask Techgrity to use the supplied information for the stated enquiry or request. Some processing may also be necessary to protect the website, maintain records, pursue legitimate business interests or comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, although this does not affect processing already completed or information that must be retained for another lawful reason.
Data minimisation and sensitive information
Please provide only information needed for the enquiry. Do not submit passwords, private keys, payment-card details, health information or other unnecessary sensitive personal information through the public forms. Project attachments are not accepted through the public project form; an appropriate controlled sharing route may be arranged when required.
Who may receive information
Access is limited to authorised Techgrity personnel and service providers needed to host, secure and operate the website or deliver enquiry notifications. Providers act only for the relevant service purpose and are expected to apply appropriate confidentiality and security controls. We do not sell personal information.
International service providers
Some hosting, security or communications providers may process information outside Zimbabwe. Where this occurs, Techgrity will assess the service and manage the transfer in accordance with applicable requirements and the sensitivity of the information involved.
How long we keep information
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the enquiry, maintain appropriate business and security records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Retention may differ according to the type of enquiry, whether a business relationship follows and any applicable procurement or legal requirement. Information that is no longer required is deleted, anonymised or securely archived according to the relevant control.
Security
Techgrity applies reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, disclosure or destruction. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so confidential credentials or unnecessary sensitive material should not be submitted through public forms.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification, you may ask to be informed about the use of your personal information, request access, object to certain processing, or request correction or deletion of false or misleading information. Send requests to business@techgrity.co.zw and describe the information or enquiry concerned.
Children
This corporate website and its enquiry forms are not intended for children. A person under eighteen should not submit personal information without the involvement of a parent, guardian or other authorised adult.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when website functions, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
